Background
Announced in late 2019. Site clearing started in early 2020, paused in April, then the main halls rose through 2020–2021. Paint shop, Giga Presses, and interiors took longer than the steel. Official opening and first Model Y deliveries were March 2022. From the air the campus is one long production block plus yards, rail, and later expansion — with a dense weekly drone record from Tesla Kid and The Wolfpack Berlin.
